Meet Chef Rachid
Growing up in a home where food was both a craft and a language of love, Chef Rachid learned early that great cuisine begins with respect—respect for ingredients, for heritage, and for the people you serve. Watching his father prepare every meal with pride and precision, he came to understand that each dish carried its own story. These lessons became the foundation of his own culinary journey. Surrounded by extraordinary culinary talent from childhood, it was only natural that young Rachid found his place in the kitchen. He refined his early family training with formal studies at the prestigious Culinary School of Beirut, an institution known for producing generations of world-class chefs.
Armed with both professional instruction and a powerful legacy, Chef Rachid embarked on a distinguished career. He began at the acclaimed InterContinental Hotel in Beirut, where he developed his craft in a demanding, high-end culinary environment. His growing reputation led him to the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C., one of the nation’s most respected establishments.
By this time, Chef Rachid had become known as a true master of Lebanese cuisine. His thoughtful, personalized approach—rooted in authenticity and elevated by refined technique—earned recognition from prominent Middle Eastern families, ambassadors, and well-traveled Americans alike. His name became synonymous with exceptional Lebanese dining, shaped by tradition and perfected through experience.
